Welcome to 217
Theta Delta Chi is an international fraternity hosted here on campus at 217 Ash Avenue. Commonly referred to as “Thumpers” in honor of our mascot, Thumper, who was drawn by alumni Frank Thomas. Unlike other Fraternities, different branches of Theta Delta Chi are referred to as Charges rather than Chapters, with Iowa State being named the Beta Deuteron(B^) Charge. TDX has been on ISU’s campus continuously since its inception in 1919.
